East Company For Flax produces cottonised flax, flax waste and fire resistance flax fiber.

Fire retardant flax fiber is our newest product. We use certified chemicals from Europe and maintain the highest quality, these fire retardant fibers are used in textiles, building products, heat isulation and floor covering.

We produce COTTONISED FLAX FIBRES, Cottonising means shorting and finer the flax fiber and making the flax suitable for mixing with cotton, polyester, viscose, spandex modal and other textile resources. Also Cottonised flax used in Non-woven fabrics production . Cottonized flax fiber is applied in a car-construction industry as an antinoise fabric. It is used as a filter unit, wadding for work clothes; it is as well used for manufacturing upholstery, furniture and floor covering.

We work in the flax field since 1954 under the name of the Eastern Factory for flax

The first producer of flax arrous and cottonised flax in Egypt and now we are the only producer of the fire resistance flax fiber.
